All new lows...... Red Wings, golds, and silver..

Today's track...

Met up with Jbrow for a few hours of looting at Local Beach...

Had a pretty good hunt for the most part, but with like the title mentions some crazy lows involved unfortunately..

1) None of the precious metals came in over 45VDI..

2) My first ever gold marked 333 which is 8K making it my lowest karat gold ever..

3)14K pendant/charm weighing at .2 grams, my lowest weight gold ever that's not an earring

4) My lowest VDI silver ever, 44 all day long, its very thin and must have come off an earring...

The Detroit Red Wings ring might be my new favorite junker ever. Its from the 1997 Stanley Cup playoffs where Detroit more or less shut out Philly.. I wish it wasn't so toasty...

I thought the 333 ring was old because of the color, I never seen one with a tag like that, I was thinking it was 10K that had been in the water forever, now I'm not sure..

Like the Junker, shame it is not silver or even gold. That 333 is cool, never have I found one of those...Good Hunt for sure...

Cool finds Ice...you always have interesting discoveries :yes:

, however you're killing my logic of digging everything over 48. Seems like I may have passed up some goodies. I just hate canslaw so much and foil usually rings in at 47 or lower on my machine... :shock:

the 14k ring I found 2 weeks ago rang up a solid 41 .. so could be

Its funny when I dirt hunt I don't even hear those signals, but in the water I freeze in my tracks and start to drool.. lol..

Not entirely sure, if my detector is too deep or the water is muddy I sometimes don't catch the VDI, there is a chance I have found lower silver with small earrings.. I'll test on in a few minutes here...

Awesome hunt and congrats on the finds. Cool ring. Those have become a popular giveaway by sports teams over the last 10-20 years. I have a couple from the SoCal sports teams.
