Default Weekend find makes wife happy

I went to my wifes old homeplace this past weekend and found a pendant she had lost 37 years ago. She is very happy with the find. There was also alot of iron there and pull tabs and cans.

Very nice. Was you looking for it or did you just happen to find it?

I was looking for anything and found it and brought it home and she said she had lost it years ago and counted 37 years. She said she had forgot about loosing it until i gave it to her.

Cool story, I'd love to go to my childhood home and see what I could find.

Congratulations on finding the pendant - that was a special find!

The center looks like silver and the outer part looks gold. But i have yet to find any markings on it.

Ha! Imagine that, a zodiac pendant lost in the 70s

Very cool story. I never thought to detect my old haunts for stuff I lost myself.

Pretty slick there Marty!

I had a similar experience years ago, digging a vintage dog/canine tag from my families long time Summer cabin property in Northern Wisconsin. The tag was likely from my Dad's dog at the time, as evidenced from the city that was stamped on it (some 1000 miles away) and the date (some 40 years earlier). Brought back some good memories for him, as I'm sure your find did for your wife...

Nice going!

Default Lucky U!

Oh, Man!! I've been looking for a diamond pendant that I lost in my yard around 10 years ago, still can't find it. I think it came off my chain when I was transfering wood from the woodpile to the patio. My husband said no more diamonds for me! I keep thinking if I find it he will change his mind!
I bet your wife was really happy! Cheers,
GiGi

It's such a great feeling to reunite a person with something long lost. How much better when that person is your spouse!

Wonderful.
