Default 1892-S quarter

I dug this 1892-S quarter at an early plantation site in Brazoria County, TX a few years back. It's seems that it was occupied until after 1900 It's in nice shape but there's a bit of a gash on the jaw.

I was using a full size shovel so I know it was not me that caused that gash. What do y'all think, will 10 stitches be enough???

When the weather cools off I head down there. Th skeeters are way too bad in the summer and the ground is way too hard. Where are you located?
