is this ring gold ?

In advance ty for checking out my post.
I found this mens ring .
It says Pms 14 kp on the inside of the band .
Does anybody know what these marks mean ?
Also is this a older style ring or is it pretty new ?
Any id is greatly appreciated ty

It means karat plumb, meaning exactly 14 karat gold.
Some governments allow 13.5k to be stamped 14k so the 14KP tells the consumer this is a true 14 karat mix.
