Default This will never happen again!

Went out on quest to find lost high school ring from 25 years ago at a home that belongs to my friends mother. Tinfoilhat was with me and he plucked a wheat penny out of the yard. I was searching the back yard when I got reading of quarter fluctuating with dime at 1 inch. I used my digger to lift up top layer of the soil and found what I thought was pocket spill of dimes. However once I looked closer I realized it was whole roll of dimes. Don't think I will ever have that happen again. Some of the paper roll was still with them. Later found 1956 wheat penny on the other side of the yard.

Paul

Find the ring? Also what's the latest date on the dimes? With the paper still there, must not have been there long. Congrats.

getting to "keep looking" sounds like pretty good luck to me, considering the quality and quantity of finds the yard has turned up so far.

very cool!

What luck, huh?
Too bad they weren't Merc dimes, or better yet, even older.
Still neat to find, though.
