I have a Fisher F-2 with a "Waterproof Coil" and I even sealed the seams with epoxy. I was wondering if it is really waterproof? Is it alright to run it along the bottom in a couple inches of water? I heard the puddles that you see at low tide are good spots to hit, but don't want to fry my machine.

Your detector is fine for that as long as you don't raise the coil to where water can go up the shaft and into the electronics. __________________ |
