which of these 2 metal detectors is better for beach hunting.
( coins, jewelry, relics, gold...)

can I use it on wet and dry sand?
its hard to choose an all round detector.

Both have waterproof coils, but these are gold prospecting detectors. They are designed mainly for hunting for gold nuggets, not beaches. The best one would be Excal II. If you have any questions please feel free to email me.

If I were choosing now.. neither.. depending on your price range.. I would read the 'Detectors and Gear' section of this forum prior to making a decision.. lots of information there... RickO
