Default Jackson Digger

Hi all

First post here, been lurking for a bit thought I jump in.

I was in Graingers today picking up work materials and came across what looks to be like a well built digging tool. Called a versa planter multi tool with a 6" blade and the one at the store came with a hard shell sheath, although the web site doesn't show it. Thinking about picking it up tomorrow when I go back to pick up the work materials.

Anyone seen one of these? Grainger was asking 24.95

Welcome to the forum! That looks very similar to a digger sold at Home Depot and other stores for around $12. Even with your Co's discount, it won't make it that cheap.

Nothing beats a lesche!

My expierence with these has been mostly positive. The only problem is it is hard to get it to go into the ground because of the forked weeder on the front.

That would be a good deal with a sheath. If you get one from lowes or HD they don't have a sheath. If anyone needs a perfect fit sheath for this digger, you can find one here.

Default New digger and new X-terra 70

Didn't get the jackson digger from Grainger's but I did go out Saturday and bought a x-terra 70! The fine gentleman that sold it to me threw in a minelab digger very similar to the lesche. Seems to be very sturdy only thing was in didn't have the honed edges like the lesche. I did take care of that issue also....the ol bench grinder fixed me right up! Works great! Will have to do until I can get a lesche, more important things needed first. Think I'm goin to order the vibra probe this week. Any opinions on this probe?

Gary
