One like that was auctioned off here in the classifides for over $10 I think. I know ones like that with dates get more $$$.

My mom gave me this some years ago. It is only silver coated and does not contain the date.
That appears to be a mis-struck Roosie and would be 90% silver, not coated. Error coins like that do have a following and can bring a nice price. The bigger the error the bigger the price.

Is the date just worn off, looks like theres enough showing below his neck to contain the date... Cool coin....

90% Silver? Really? That's really cool. But how do you know if you can't see the date? Or is it the blank part of the dime?

Neat! You should be able to tell is it's silver or not by looking at the rim? Is it solid silver color or "sandwiched?"

If you see that, it is clad and just silver colored, but the type of error is worth more than any supposed silver content, to a mint error collector...you can find these types of errors on ebay to get an idea of what people are asking!
