Default Hammered Coin

Not sure what it is yet.Its all i found after 3 hours .Its a little worn but im sure i will get an ID on it.

very nice Simon it looks like it has a date of 1575 on the back

it looks like a 1575 to me as well, asfar as what kind of coin not sure. very nice find keep it up

If I did my homework correctly I believe that is an Elizabeth the 1st hammered 6 pence 3rd issue. Very cool! (And I also just noticed by your post above mine that you already figured that out... my bad, but here's a nice picture!)

Well done Fog,i have been told its a three pence,more than likely slightly smaller in the example you have given.
