Default button info needed

these where my first button finds,i found them on a river bank that use to be an old dump site back in the day,the only info i was able to gather is the could possibly be pre civil war. anyone know for sure?

I found a similar Marine button at a battle site back years ago. It was odd that I had never read about any Marines being 175 miles inland, at this location. Definite Civil War find, though. Good find!
