Default Sunny day

Turned out to be a very nice Fl day out there. I went to the beach yesterday just for a quick look..... man the sea weed is back and the water was rocking. So i opted for today. Hit it early ..... took the Explorer rather than the Xcal since i decided to do some wet/dry sand hunting. Got to the beach and the water was still jammed up with sea weed, wind was blowing heavy out of the west which was causing like a 3 second wave action. So i made a good decision on the detector choice. I had seen another hunter earlier but he turned and went the other way. Im starting to think i smell like fish or something since lately more hunters are trying to ignore me. I hunted for a good 6 hours until the beach was getting full making it difficult to hunt. The first ring is of course .... SS, my fav., nice heavy oynx .925, another class ring from a local HS 2014 grad. I should be able to run the owner down and this will be my 4th return for the year. The dolphin ring is another junker and the the three earrings are .925.

Well done! I'm thinking the dry/wet stuff is the way to go these days, I love water hunting, but we're so sanded in right now....and the weed issue...kinda puts a damper on the water fun.....HH...Bill

Bill.... its work and HOT. Id much rather spend that kind of time in the water. But you know its hot when you are sweating in the water. As far as the sea weed.... man that nasty and thick.

Lot of swinging Joe, 6 hours swinging that heavy detector. Say what you want, but that Xcal sure is easier to swing or push around for that long. Miller time.....

I here you on the mini Zee hunt Zee kills um out there. Max hit the pool, sat in the water with a floating cooler and enjoyed the weather. Craig.... pretty good day indeed. Looks like the next few days are the same in the water.

thats a great hunt Dew,,,,you are killing it,,,,will be good return with the class, thats crazy to have 4 class ring returns in one year,,,I went with the same plan of dry sand and wet sand hunt,,,,I faired ok,,got two junker rings, one which was pretty in the scoop and a toe ring,,,drops are starting to fall again and the huge waves today with the depositors in the water will make for some good chances at the good stuff this week! let me know if you want to get together,,,morning hunts look the best this week with the tides and winds,,,

Depending on where you want to hunt looks like Thurs is when the tides come down a little and the wind shifts to the East again. Not that we cant get in sooner this week its just going to be a bumpy ride on most of the beaches.
