Default One man's trash...

Hey ya'll. Just getting around to updating the old blawg, and thought I'd post a few pics over here too.

Nothing too spectacular, but I'm happy enough. Couple CW bullets, including a cool half-melted one. The rectangular brass things are some sort of squeezebox reeds. At first I thought the iron piece might be part of a bayonet blade... but I'm not convinced. Opinions welcome. The coin may have the look of silver, but it rang up way too low. Turns out it's a 1979 Swiss 1/2 Franc, copper-nickel. My buddy got the best find there, an awesome Eagle I coat button with gilt.

My favorite finds are these cool milk glass cold creme jars I found on a big bottle dump in the woods. Not terribly old, probably 40's, but I couldn't resist taking them home.

Thanks for looking! As always, more info on the blog.

Really 'cool' finds! The bullets are nice and you can use the Cold Cream jars to store odds and ends.

Thanks!

I think I'm going to get some candle wax and wicks and turn the jars into candles.
