Default I may take up this CRHing full time! lol. another good score today!

so i went back and picked up the last 200.00 worth of halves from the same bank i got the halves yesterday. and they paid off even better today! not only did i score 24, 40% silvers, i also got 3, 90%ers!! 2 more 64's, and a really worn walking liberty. looks like a 1947, but its hard to make the date out for sure. I also picked up 20.00 in dimes, and found one 64 silver rosie. not pictured because i left it in the van and i'm too lazy to go get it

Also, the wife went to the grocery store earlier, and checked the coinstar reject tray on her way by, and picked up a 56 rosie lol. told me she didnt even have to get her hands dirty for that one .

i took a pic of the 2 day's total score, and a pic of all 5, 90%ers. again, with my phone camera,( the pics suck i know ) since the daughter has evidently "temporarily misplaced" my digital camera i usually use.

Thanks for looking and HH!

Oh YEAH!! great score hook. I love Coin roll hunting just slightly less than metal detecting. It's a great hobby and has paid off BIG for me. Good luck on future hunts.

Default Nice

Way to go, I wish the halves I did came out like that
I only got one 90% and two 40% for two boxes.
Now I'm hooked on nickels.

You hit what every CRHer dreams of...someone dumping a collection of silver coinage! Glad you got it...However, don't count on that kind of luck all the time!

I have been reading into the coin rolls and i started doing it myself. I have a friend that works at the bank and only one person deposits halves. The same credit union is on my way home from work but its a different branch. I will deposit them there and pick up at a different branch. I only started out with buying 1 roll, but in the morning im going to pick up 2. I know its a long shot with so little coins, but ill try it.
