Default First trip out since June....

And wow, did it feel good! It was my first hunt of any kind since June 17th! I've been so #$%@ busy this summer between work, my wife and I starting a home based business, kids activities, and I quit smoking too! All of this has severly cut into my detecting time, but I plan to rectify that soon!

I ran out to a local beach this morning for an hour, and just enjoyed the peace and quiet while swinging through the dry sand (don't even say it, Craig, lol) around the lifeguard chairs. Just found a few coins, and one strange earring, marked .925 but gold in color. To be honest, I didn't even care what I found, I was just glad to get out.

Hopefully I'll be able to spend a lot more time now out hunting and hanging around my favorite freindly detecting forum! Thanks for looking, and HH!

TK - Glad you got out. The 925 thing is probably gold plated over silver.

Thanks for the non-smoking support everyone, I do appreciate it! I have a 5 gallon water jug that I put on the floor in my room, and everyday that I'm smoke free, I throw in the $6 I would have spent on smokes into the jar. At the end of one year, I'm taking the family on a trip to Florida to visit the grandparents and to hit Bush Gardens in Tampa. It'll be worth it!

Thanks again!!

Boy, that's a great idea. With the price of smokes now-a-days, that should add up to nearly $2200!

Nice finds and congrats.
