Default Wanted to Introduce myself
Hello and thanks for having me as part of the group. My name is Don I live in Grand Blanc Michigan and decided to get involved in the hobby to keep my deer hunting legs active Im 49 years old at end of this month and dont just bounce up as fast as I used to. I love history and Look forward to cool older finds that will make me reflect on just what was this person doin way back when at the time this was lost. Thanks again and Best of luck to all. And keep hydrated in this Heat!!!!

You picked a good hobby to keep you conditioned for deer hunting. Welcome to the forum, i hope you get to ponder the history of many good finds!

I'm about 10 minutes south of imlay city. Since the ground is so hard I have been trying to get to a beach,at least once a week. That's all I have been able to do right now with work and family stuff. Send me a pm if you would like to get out. My detecting will slow way down once october 1st comes. But untill then I go when I can.

I am definately with ya buddy!!! I try to find places in the woods to hunt where ground is softer and I work over 50 hours a week so know what you mean there as well. Im guessing you deer hunt with the October 1 date lol. That is my favorite thing to do is deer hunting. Hunt up by Grayling on public land. But yeah we will have to get together when we have time.
