Cool Returned To Drunk Monkey Beach For The Morning Dry Sand Hunt 6-26

The weather was so incredibly cool this morning, that I figured I would give Drunk Monkey Beach another go..I hit the dry sand around the blanket line for around 3-3 1/2 hours and did okay...

Here are the results:

$6.11 in Clad

Guess Womans Watch- running like it was just lost in past 48 hours

1- Small Trowel Shovel

2- Hot Wheels cars of which one I shovel slammed

1- Working Bic Lighter

1- Small Childs Toy, which I left on a stoop for the lucky finder

1- Beat Up Aluminum Arcade Token

1- Really Cool Rapala Lure Key Chain with a set of car & house keys, which I took to the Lifeguard stand, which was about 20 yards away- they were clearly lost in the past 24-48 hours and the owner could not have been happy- maybe they will return to the scene and the lifeguards told me they would call them in..

Typical Drunk Monkey Bottlecap Collection

It was a gorgeous morning, but by noon the sun was blasting me and the beach was filling up, so I called it a day ..

Fun hunt though for a dry sand hunt

I did see one other hunter who was moving at warp speed with his coil about 6-8 inches off the sand...I just stood and smiled
I saw the same guy over the winter, so he must be pretty regular..I just wonder what he finds

Good Luck to you all if you get out !!!!

Hey B.P. nice hunt. The watch looks nice!

Well we know one thing for sure,we know SOS didn't drop those beer caps!
From reading his dribble on the other forums that cheap stuff is beneath him.

I gotta try me some of that Bud lime.

DMB is where I cleaned up the dry sand over the winter ..
It is in the heart of The Secret Society's hunting grounds ..
No black sand here, only black hearted souls ..
Shiver me timbers
