Default You guys down in the U.S staying cool ?

It was f***** hot up here in Ontario, Canada today, 94 F but has cooled
down some as a cold front is coming through. Know doubt weather plays
a big role in our hobby. Got in a short hunt today, stayed in the shade
at a local park and got a nice silver 1960 dime and some clad with the F2.

Hope you guys are staying cool down there.

Take care,
CDNsilver

I'm in NH and it's still incredibly hot right now, even at night. Hunted last night for about an hour and suffered through it for not much return, tried in my back trails tonight for a bit but it's just too humid and buggy for the woods right now. Tomorrow should be less humid, and the weekend looks nicer, possibly some rain which would be good.

Stay cool!

try growing up here in south louisiana, where the summer temp is routinely in the mid 90's or worse, with the humidity averaging 90 % or more
talk about sweat! you can step out on the porch at 6 am and just stand there while the sweat starts popping out on your brow. it sucks here in summer i tell ya!

It was actually too hot to go hunting today, so I went to work instead After work it was still too hot to detect, so I went and hung out at the beach After the thunderstorms roll through tomorrow it'll be back in the 70's...

It has been hot and very dry in the Chicago area.
I am not used to the ground being so hard.

I got out today. In Boston it was 103 with the heat index. Actually it wasn't too bad, I can tolerate any heat you throw at me, but the bitter cold I will not hunt in. I just bring water bottle and hunt close to the beach and take a quick dip every 45 minutes or so.

It's amazing how fast you dry out in this heat.

Wasn't to bad..I went out at lunch..it was around 98 degrees and a little humid. I do not mind the heat as long as I keep my swinging under the shady spots. The Sun and heat combine can really kick my butt especially with the grey ghosts on my head..man do those things make me sweat. Stay cool guys...HH

i'm sweating just from reading some of these posts!!

it's much more bearable here today, overcast and down to about 65-70 this morning. of course the temp is going to go up, but not as bad as it was the past couple of days.

Pete
