Default what machine for water

my son just got his certification for diving. i mentioned to him that there are machines that are specifically for under water. any reccomendations as to what machine to start out with? thanks in advance.

Saltwater - Tesoro Sand Shark (rated to 200ft.)

I just got a tesoro tiger shark,but I only hunt fresh water. It has been doing a good for me.
