Default Man gold is tough to find lately, but I found one- Updated, read on

Has anyone else noticed that gold rings seem to have disappeared?

A guy came up to me in the water yesterday who lost his wedding band. I spent 2 hours looking for it yesterday but never did find it. After hitting several beaches today without any luck I went back to where he lost his ring and gave it another try. After about an hour I found it. It's .925 with a 14K braid around it. Very nice ring. I gave him my email addy yesterday and he just happened to email me as I was on my way home. Needless to say he's pretty happy. He's gonna pick it up tomorrow.

I also found an NHL Boston Bruins ring too.

Nice find and return! Gold is hard to find for most of us. Two rings are always good even if you keep only one.

Default Ring return update

The other day I posted that I spent about three hours looking for a guys ring. Well, we met up today and he got it back. He was a happy man and slapped 50 bucks for my troubles on me.

Retails for $240. Sentimental value is tough to measure some times. Good find!

Nice return, it must feel good. I went out for a second hunt today. I'd passed by two groups of people playing volleyball right next to each other. I thought I might be able to find an unlucky tossed piece of jewelry. As I pulled up, I noticed a guy walking around looking at the ground. As soon as he saw me pull out my detector, the hunt was on. It turns out one of the girls had lost her Calvin Klein watch. I gridded the entire area, even outside where she thought she lost it, but came up with nothing but a single dime. I have a feeling it may have been lost in the water. I might go back tomorrow at low tide with the xcal. I was really getting pumped to be able to find something for someone. Again, good job!

I am impressed with your integrity. You are a good man. That was the best 50 bucks the man could spend. I'm sure his wife was in his ear about that.

Good job
Cliff
