Default 10 silver day!!!! best day ever..

suffering with allergies,poison ivy and mosquito bites pays off out at my favorite woods,i had a 10 silver day on thursday...i happened upon a few singles and 2 pocket spills.....

2 SLQ's unknown date(worn off)
2 1945 washingtons
5 mercs1923,26,37, and 2 1941's
1 1956 rosie..

also found 22 wheaties and 31 cets in clad

the second pic from the spot from early in the week has 1 slq, a tootsie toy(my first) an old lipstick case(that still had lipstick in it that my fiance put on) and an old art deco watch..

Excellent silver recovery. Your watch looks very interesting and familiar. I found one very similar to yours that turned out to be GOLD! The works were junk/rusted because the crystal had been broken, so while at the jewelry store having it tested, they opened it up and the mark for 14K was inside the case. Yours may just be white gold. I'd for sure have it tested. : ) Good luck.

Nice! Wow 2 SLQ's in one hunt and I've yet to find one in 15yrs Haha Anyway it looks like you have an excellent spot. I love hunting the woods especially this time of year when the fields are overgrown and the soil in yards and parks is so dry. Did you find why that area has so much old stuff? Was it an old park or fairgrounds or something? Either way that is a awesome job. Grats and HH
