Default Little Silver Ring

Found my second silver ring, its been a while since ive dug anything but clad and
pull tabs, so it was a welcome sight to see this ring. about 4 inches down along a pathway to an apartment building. Also found my forth Kennedy half dollar (1974) and second rabies tag. Going to a football field tonight.....

Nice hunt. That is a lot of quarters, $5+ total.

Can you post a closeup of the GW token, front and back next to a quarter for perspective? It is bigger than the Kennedy half!

FMDF posts pictures of a lot of tokens that you can't find on ebay and other sites for ID. That is how I found the forum, trying to ID a token.

Thanks for posting it. I like tokens. From googling yours is a bangle from a lady's belt or clothing from the 1960s or 1970s, modeled after old and valuable GW commemorative tokens. There would have been dozens of these on the belt, strung on there. That is probably why the noses are warn off, because it wore against other tokens at the that spot. It is also why it is kind of cheaply made and two sided. It looks better with the face showing. It very well could have been a product of the bicentennial 1976, I remember seeing patriotic stuff everywhere then. Might be worth a dollar, which coin dealers consider worth nothing. I am saving every token I find, until the economy recovers. I remember when people were buying tokens, including tax tokens, just to collect them at $5-10 each.
