Default GPS Cache 2012

Alright it's out there. This is what you are looking for:

Well, one anyway. One from the many that I've found. Find this location and you're close. Pulltab saw me plant it but I don't think he went back after it. It's shallow and should be easy to find. You'll know it when you see it.

This time it's in a different park that a lot of people don't know exists. There has been silver and a number of wheat cents taken from it. Could be more left. There is an old ball diamond and a tot lot that you can hunt while you are there too. I hope that my GPS was working. I dropped it when I took it out of the car. If no on reports finding it within a week, I'll go back and try a different GPS unit to make sure the location is right. We had a lot of fun with these hunts last year. Let me know what you think and I might have more.

Sorry but this is for those in the Wichita area. I hid several last year and had a number of responses when I said I might do another this year. So far I haven't heard from anyone local. If there is no interest on my day off next week I will dig it up and put it back in my collection.

I'm definitely interested, and was planning on searching this morning. Unfortunately, the storm last night blew our gate right off the hinges, so I had to replace it to keep the dogs in, so I'm thinking it might be nice and cool in the morning

If you find it, post a picture so others won't waste their time looking for it. Perhaps I'll hide another one later.

I got out to hunt for it this morning, and I wasn't swinging for five minutes and my wife called to tell me her dad died, so I had to leave it for another day.

Sorry to hear of your loss. I'll leave it out there a while longer so don't worry about it. We need to get together for a hunt one of these days.

I was able to squeeze in an hour early this morning before packing to go to Biloxi tomorrow. If at first you don't succeed....

Thanks for the hunt, I really enjoyed it! It was also nice to see for myself that my new e-trac can indeed find silver

When I get back from the funeral, I'll see about maybe planting a gps cache for everyone else. Thanks again!

I didn't realize coords were posted. I met Miner at that park and he told me you would be doing it. Very cool idea. I may hide something and send a message to the Wichita hunters I know. Love the idea!

You have to keep checking the forum. It doesn't take long for new posts to get buried on a back page. I may do another if there is still any interest. I guess I didn't hurt my GPS when I dropped it.

I'm across the street from the beach in Biloxi, MS right now. Shall I plant one for y'all here?
