Default shotgun shell headstamps????

ive noticed that some of you collect these,is there value to these...or are you just collecting them?

the reason i ask is i hunt wooded areas often and i put them in the find bag when i get them...usually to throw them out later...if they are collectable(as in haveing a value) what should i look for?

I'm curious about this as well, but I think people keep them cause they are often old and kind of cool. I have hung on to most of the shotgun head stamps I have found and tend to keep any of the bullets I find that haven't been shot yet.

I'm sure our resident headstamp expert, Turtlefoot, will be along momentarily to address your question.

Yes, some people collect these.
