Default My First silver coin today!

FIRST SILVER EVER TODAY!!! I drove past an ol ball park today and noticed that just outside the fence they had been grading and digging the soil and grass. It was all tore up. I dug one signal and found a pull tab and glanced some silver out of the corner of my eye. It was this Merc dime! Woooooohoooooooo!!! Wish I had a machine that could read deeper!

Congratz!
Your Compadre should get deep enough to find 90% of what is down there since 90% of it is probably 5-6 inches or less in depth.
Between the clad that you find and jewelry you can find it should not take long to gather enough money to buy a second, deeper unit.
Don't even think about selling the Compadre, though...others have and then bought another one as time went on.

Mine cost me $130 used and within 6 months, (NOT using it every hunt, either!), I found over $500 in clad and gold and silver jewelry at melt prices.

Just be patient and keep learning, everything will work out.

Awesome!! Still waiting on my first silver. I have been out about 10-15 times since picking up my ace 250 a couple of weeks ago and still have not found a silver coin.

I'm using a Tesoro Compadre. So far, I'm really happy with it! The dealer assured me its a great starter machine and that it is SOLID. I have to agree.
