Default Silver #21 is in great shape.

Headed out with Pescadore, and REM today to an old church we know of. Finds at this place don't come often but when they do they are usually great. Yesterday I was out there and found a gold ring and my first buff and today I find my first Barber dime. 1911 D. I found my first Barber quarter at this same church a couple of months back. Pescadore played cowboys and indians and nabbed him an Injun, thats his story though. I had a great morning with 2 great guys. Thanks REM for your service and for hunting with me this morning!

Nice Barber! At least you didn't nick it like I did my 07 yesterday! These are real sweet coins.

That Barber is beautiful .. I really admire the way you stuck with that signal and using your intuition. It tells me that you have a real handle on the SE Pro and it has been fun to watch you grow into a much better detectorist. I hope I can do as well with the E-trac as you have done with the Explorer. The research you did on the old church has really payed off in silver. I need to find us another good place !!!

Thanks, about 4 inches mixed in with a heap of rusty nails. Tone wasn't something I would normally dig, but lasted longer than the single high screech rusty nails usually give me. Cleared 2 nails out before I found it with the probe.

Sweet barber Roy, looks like you have the SE's tones figured out. Which coil were you using?

Nice to get out with buds and find coins in that condition. You must have very neutral soil in your part of Texas. Great job swimming past those nails for the nab!

Thanks all, I scan after finding and cleaning to record them, plus the clarity is better. This has been a good year for me on older coins.
