Sure looks to be in great condition for the age. Is something like that worth some bucks ? My oldest coin is about 250 years younger - Neat find, Steve in so az

Very nice one, Simon. Just curious, if you keep track, how many of the English monarchs do you have coins for? I guess some of them are extra hard to find because of short reigns. Doug

I think i have a coin for most of them.It seems to me that the William and Mary coins are quite rare.I do have a few coppers from them but in bad condition.

Default Amazing....

Simon... It's one amazing find after another. Way to go!!! I have heard it is getting difficult to gain permission on some farm sites there... Is this true?

Looking forward to seeing more like this!

Very true.I am lucky because ive managed to get permission from two farm owners to go wherever i want to on there farm and there both about 2000 acres of land so i have 4000 acres to hunt on and there both in historical places.

Wow, that's practically a lifetime of hunting right there.
