Default Big Silver times 3

I went back to the new sweet spot on the lake today. I hunted from 10am til noon and found all 3 Walking Liberty halfs and 3 wheat cents and headed home for lunch. I went back for 3 more hours and all I found was the 1947 Rosie and the 47 Washington and 2 more wheaties and the baret and clad. I'll hit it again tomorrow and see what turns up. I never found 3 SLQs in one day before so I'm still dancing.

You did great, nice job on all the silver! Finding one silver half in a hunt is impressive, but three is awesome!

I am using the Beach Hunter switching from Dis to AM mode. Still lots of nails but I didn't put the trash in the plcture. I may get in a short hunt this morning but the weekend crowds will keep me out of the water until Tuesday. Thanks, Jim:

Nice hunt. Your not kidding about it being a sweet spot. There has to be gold there it's just hiding better.HH!
That big round piece of brass looks like a water pump impeller if you were wondering what it is.

It is fresh water. I have found silver coins over the years that were clean as new and then a few feet away a Merc dime that is almost blue, but with nice detail. Fresh water is much kinder to coins than salt water.

to find those SL's 1924 and earlier with dates is fantastic. To find 3 SL's is one super day..... great hunting.... hit that spot some more.

Wow that is awesome! And like G4E said, those are Walking Liberty Halves, not Standing Liberty Quarters. Three of either though would be incredible. Excellent finds!!
