Talking PinPointer in reach.

Hey you'all,
I got tired of reaching back to my findbag to pull my Pinpointer from it's sheath, there had to be a better way.
Then bang it hit me, I got sticky rolls of velcro put one strip on top of the detector box and the other on the pp, walla, now the pp is right in front of me and easier to reach when I need it.
Hope this idea works for someone else beside me!

Good idea, I use sticky back Velcro for a lot of stuff. I don't like to make anything permanent unless I have to.

Might also check out Buzz's Bomb in classifieds. Holds your Pointer and your Lesche that you can easily reach when you need it. Makes my detecting so much easier.

The Bomb is awesome! I love how easy it is to get to my recovery tools. Good idea with the velcro though.

I can't seem to find the classified you are referring to. Got a link?

I wear a fanny pack that has two pouches, one for trash, one for finds. I wear a hammer holster on one side to carry my digger. I didn't like carrying my pp on my side so I attached its holster to the arm bracket on my detector. It is very handy in that location, very close to your hand as you place your detector on the ground, its quick to draw and quick to holster. It doesn't flop around and it has never fallen out of its holster. I can't add a photo because I'm not on my computer, you can see a photo on this link. http://metaldetectingforum.com/showthread.php?t=113008

I keep my pinpointer in the thigh pocket of my cargo pants. Pretty handy.

Default heres my set up

plus when needed i can hang my folding shovel and hang a badana from a loop ans still have room for all this and a bottle of water. the tool pouch hangs from my left side and a medium trash holder on my right. the goodies go in my cargo pocket, so if ever robbed i would give them the trash keeper.
