Thumbs up

It is quite old, but theres a lot older . Being the entrepreneurial type, i like to work on projects, if you would be interested in a UK detecting holiday, add me as a friend, if theres enough interest, i will work on it.

Tomorrows going to be the first trip to the site. Its forecast to rain, but should be ok under the trees I reckon. Im a little bit worried about demolition rubble spoiling the searching, but we will see how we get on

if a thunderstorm starts to form, do stop whatever you are doing and seek shelter. Never wise to detect in such conditions.

I certainly will shelter if it thunders, don't fancy being under a tree with lightning about, a bit of rains not a problem though, my machine is waterproof anyway

Well done on your finds, I will put my oldest and best find quote on here if requested. Don't think I will be doing podcasts but photos definantely. Just hoping the rain holds off for the weekend, not looking hopeful, but the search will go on

No problem, will do. If this site turns out to be not so good, there's plenty of others I can go to and still post finds from those sites too if you all wish to see.

Angry Dense brambles causing a headache!!

Well that was an experience!, theres not a great deal of detectable space due to very thick brambles. The woods themselves appear to have been used as a dumping ground for quite a number of years, so i was relegated to the meadows surrounding the wood, trying to avoid the horses!
Usual selection of bits n bobs but some nice finds too. The XP Goldmaxx power machine that i use is 18khz, and very sensitive to small items, quite a few siver items coming up from the meadow, which was no surprise given the history of the surrounding area.
FOR SOME REASON THE PHOTOS WONT UPLOAD!!!

No worries buddy, i'l put some more on tonight of just general finds of the area, its a shame this site is so contaminated with demolition rubble and brambles, in 2 weeks time I have a week off work and i'l be on a site that's been producing nice finds from victorian right back to Celtic, maybe I should start a new blog on that one
