Default Very rare scottish coin

I found this coin in the month of March 2007. I can confirm that the coin is of Alexander II, naming the moneyers Andrew and Alain minted at Roxburgh
(Scottish Borders). The reverse legend reads +ANDEREVALAINONRO with the NR lligatured. The National Museums of Scotland have told me that to all their knowledge there is only 1 other coin with the same combination of dies as this 1 and it is housed with them. Alexander reigned from 1214-1249 and this coin would be graded as being fine to very fine but weak in places. Hope you like it.

yes i get to keep it as it was found in England. If i had found it in Scotland then they would have ripped my hand off at the wrist and kept it. The detecting laws in Scotland are different than that of England as older finds are rarer in Scotland.

I have had an estimate from The Searcher magazine that it is worth ?750.00. With the rarity of the coin i actually thought there should be another zero on the end of that price.
