No prices yet, but there are 2 versions - starter doesn't include wireless or the spare battery pack that takes AA batteries.

I think everyone was assuming the price would be released today after they said more info will be available on 5-11. Companies usually like to have pre-orders lined up as a PR thing, it's a lot harder to do that if people don't know how much it costs.

My favorite rumor has the price at 2299, and 2499 with the wireless audio. No price has been set, another rumor says a price will be set 5/17. If you are interested check out all the stuff on minelabowners and findmall forums, each has a ML Treasure talk writer commenting on stuff.

They published specs and treasure talk blog articles last night on the CTX on minelab's site as well.

Kind of odd to put down a payment or preorder on something you may not be able to afford.if they post it is $5000,you will see a lot of people and their deposit parting ways.I'm gonna wait on the price.if it is basically a waterproof etrac,i'll just buy a etrac used and waterproof it.Don't need all that gps junk anyways.I'm guessing it will be around $3000. $2400 for the cheaper one.Anyone want to guess and see who nails it?

Yep. I posted that I doubt the thing has any significant improvements in bad soil over the ETrac, otherwise they would have showcased it in Culpepper VA this spring, and given it to someone that could have tested it in Devil Soil, and posted the results, and did not get one response.

Praise only critics please wait until we have sold one to everyone.
