I thought I hit the jackpot

Last week I found this large bracelet in a park about 4 inches deep. Imagine how I felt as I pulled this out of the ground. But I could find no markings on it except that it says "Made in the USA." It is non-magnetic and very heavy...20.5 grams. I studied every surface on it with my jeweler's loop for anything to indicate it was gold but no luck. Just a high quality piece of costume jewelry I guess.
