Default First lake hunt of 2012
Frog and I went for a drive Sunday to a local lake.



It was cold and windy but it felt good to be out swinging a detector. I used my Sov Gt and hunted the beach, taking it slow listening for faint signals which paid off with a few keepers including 5 silver coins, a junk ring and a sterling silver ring. They were all in pretty horrible shape from the alkali but fun to find anyway.



Here are the silver and rings , cleaned up.



Hopefully I'll soon be able to get into the water.

That silver ring cleaned up nice, I bet there is a lot more to be found in that spot.

Thanks Curt, I picked it up on a whim at the airport when I left Costa Rica . Pasted it to the dash of my truck for a laugh, it's my new mascot...LOL!
