Default A few recent finds and a story...

Been a while since I posted any finds. The 1967 11g, 10k HS ring came out of the ol' honey hole about a month ago in a heavy crust of green oxidation. My wife and I recently did a little investigative work in contacting the school and researching the initials of the individual who it may belong to. It just so happens that the class of 1967 is planning their 45th reunion in October so depending on if the owner is on Oahu, at the graduation and is still alive...I hope to reunite her with her ring on her 45th highschool graduation. If my math is correct, she'd be around 62 y/o today.

The Gucci 18k, 5g was discovered during a recent night hunt. It's unusual in that I've never found a GUCCI before.

HH,
AM

How cool would that be....to show up for you 45 year reunion and get your lost ring handed to you. I hope she shows up, what a story that would be. WTG

What a nice couple of ring finds you got there!
REALLY unique looking 18k there. Maybe one for you and one to find it's home again.
Post your finds more often.

That Gucci ring is the first one I've ever seen with karat markings etched on both the outside and inside the band.

Yes, returning that ring to the owner on her 45th year reunion would definitely make "Headline News"!

Congrats, Aquaman!

Awesome finds AM! Hope you are able to return that class ring. How can you be sure that other ring is an 18k Gucci jk, that is the most stamps I've ever seen on a ring, inside and out. I guess if you pay the money for a Gucci ring, you would want everyone to know exactly what it was.

Default Return

I have seen it in a couple posts. Is that the norm to return class rings or a personal choice?

I'm a pirate at heart but this ring has initials, a school name and a year attached to it. I've never excepted money for recovering a ring and I don't plan to start. Things just seem to be lining up regarding this ring so a return just feels right.
