I hear that there is a movement to organize a landscaping company by the name of 4 Seasons out your way.

Joe, you can be the Steward and I'll go for the coffee and donats in the morning , don't forget the beer break in the afternoon. Craig can do the work while you give me the GPS coordinates on the good hunting spots. LOL

If you need a teamster to drive the truck I'm in. I always hated unions till I joined one. Now I have great health coverage and a great retirement. I don't hate unions anymore.

I owned my own business for nine years and all I have to show for it is that I am 9 years older. Eleven years in the union I have a great annuity, health coverage and 14 years to go till retirement.I started this job when I was older so I will have to work till age 62.The day I retire I am turning in my CDL and never looking back.I dont care if I have to live in a car, at age 62 im retired!!! I already have a little condo in West Palm for the winters. I just have to pay off all the credit cards from the renovation.

Earl, Good for you, I am always happy to hear about people that retire and get to enjoy their life. I work with too many stupid people that will never retire because they think they are going to die if they do. What a sad way to live! 50 and out!! I only wish I could get that!! My condo is in Century Village, West Palm. It's a retirement community so the costs are low. It's ten minutes from the airport or the beach. I would prefer my own house near or on the water but I can barely afford this now so it's better than nothing. The best part about the condo is it's all new so when I am there I don't have to do anything but enjoy myself. I just need to double up on detectors and scoops so I have everything I need in both places. HH and retirement!

So this would come apart pretty small and make a good travel rod too, right?

Default Tall Man lower

Joe,

Do you need to use a Tall Man Lower or will a regular length lower shaft work?

The only stock part you'll be using again is the mid-section shaft. Can't go wrong with the price. I would like to thank BEACH-HUNTER for his info's about this.

I stand 5'9" so yes I have to use the tall man. Let me also add that if you're taller, You'll need to add another midsection which I'm thinking of doing.I might have to cut it down a bit....I'll let you guys know.

You still have plenty of adjustment with the tall man shaft...if your 5'9" you'll have a few longer adjustments left. I'm 5'9" tall and use the tall shaft on mine. But right now I am using my custom built 2 piece straight shaft on the Dual Field.

That's a nice looking custom job! I fear breaking the mounting tabs off of the metal detector with anything but a factory-fitted aluminum rod; I experienced this problem with 2 excals (although excals probably are weaker than a DF in this regard.)

what tabs are you talking of?? Coil mounting tabs?
The coil is mounted in a whites factory lower rod...just the upper rod is non-whites...i have seen many busted excal & explorer coil tabs....never seen one on a whites.
