Default 1820's NY militia button*cw eagle button * copper*VIDEO
Got out with Gary to a few new sites yesterday.dug 2 nice military buttons,a crusty copper,2 Ih's,4 crotal bells & took a spring swim!

Nice buttons. I love the New York buttons cause they're always the easiest to identify with the "Excelsior." Congrats!

Awesome hunt Dave. You had a great day to be out.

Was the hook thingy a plow share?


I was camping out last night with the cub scouts & man was it cold this am.

I'll give you a ring, probably either tomorrow or Tuesday night. Gonna be a busy week for me.

Awesome hunt... never seen more than one crotal come from a site, not to mention 4 in one hunt! Wow! Beautiful buttons as well - that Excelsior is sharp! Couple IH's to round out the day and that's a wicked fun hunt! Nice digs!
