Default Wet Rock Hunting...

The area of a beach I have been hunting these past few hunts still has refused to give up anymore gold to me... I thought the day was going to start off great as my first dig was a silver dime... after that nothing but clad and junk... hunted with the GT its not a site for a pulse machine.

Figured I would show you where I have been recovering all the clad the silver and two small gold finds from.

When I get a signal I sweep my foot to remove some of the larger rocks then I use my scoop...

Rough looking digging there... I'm sure you would have grabbed it if it had been there...

Make the stones bigger, cover them with water and Ya got most of our local beaches duplicated!!

You've done well to hunt in that stuff Craig!

What a nice change from our soft, easy to dig sugar sand. If we had those conditions maybe all the vacationers would go back to playing golf and we would have a few targets to dig.

Anything you find Craig, you have earned it.

Nice hunt Craig. If that gold is there, you'll find it.

I don't know how you do it... I have a few beaches like that, that I avoid like the plague... thousands of targets, all under 4 inches deep, makes my PI useless. I guess a Sov GT would help...

Boy, you sure don't give away very much do you, Craig!

I think I'd use a Lesche digger to get into the crevices of those rocks. And maybe a waterproof handheld pinpointer (vibraprobe) to locate the target once I opened the area up a little. But the bending over to dig would probably be tough.

Raphis

It's time to leave the GT home and bring the big gun "DF" and dig everything. Let me know...I can help you out this Saturday!

That is the reason I won't hunt with just a PI as it limits those beaches where there are a large amount of targets mixed in with the iron... my GT was going a lot of nulling at this spot... I know my beaches pretty well and where to use each machine I think a detector like the GT would increase your gold and silver finds and allow you to hunt those beaches you stay away from...

Default Ruff

I don't know if I could walk on that place let alone dig targets there.
