Default 1000's of Closed Gold Mine Coordinates View in Google Earth

You can download and view the locations of closed gold mines with reports in any State at...

Search the Mineral Resources Data System


Then choose format: Google Earth.

Zoom In/Out Read report ect.

Here's a screen shot of some of the gold mines in AZ.

that is a great link!!! I can now pinpoint all of the copper & silver mines that aren't listed in other directories/websites that I've never heard of where I hunt...great link!

While yes the map you are showing there is showing defunct mines the majority are privately owned. It is a great link though.
