Default Seaside NJ Beach Info Needed

Hi Everybody,
I know some of you out here are from New Jersey and need your help........ I will be taking a trip late May from Arizona to the Seaside Hts NJ Area (Toms River NJ) to visit relatives.....I will be bringing my Minelab Xterra 705..... I have three coils to try out there... the 9" stock MF concentric coil and a 5x9DD HF and a 6"DD HF coils which i will try all three to see which works best but my Questions are:

1) Can i legally detect there getting on the beach to the Ocean during the day from the boardwalk if i pay the fee?_______

2)What time can i get on the beach from the same boardwalk location when there is no fee?am and pm______

Would also like to detect under the boardwalk too as many must drop things thru the boardwalk.

This place used to be my childhood hangout when i lived there but that was many, many years ago (1967 era)

Any help on this area would be a big help as i really don't want any run ins with the Law.
Thanks,
Joe

Hi Joe I think most of the beaches in and around that area start charging around 9 am and stop charging around 4/5 PM.

I usually hit them before 8 and after 4 or 5 in the afternoon. If you get a beach badge you should be fine anytime.

Thanks for the time frame..... just want to be sure others detect there and it's not against town ordinance......
Now i have to make a homemade sand scoop with handle as i've seen many on youtube.

The Beach by me start checking badges anywhere between 7-8 and will continue until 5. You also have to pay for parking until 7 here. Now in seaside and point pleasent areas I think there is paid parking even past that. as for a beach pass i think the season pass is like 120 something so the day pass is probably like 10. I know some people have been asked to leave the water when the life guards go off duty.

Belmar is a great area as i used to fish the back waters there for flounder in early spring and take the party boats out for blues, stripers etc. being my in-laws live in toms river and friends near pt pleasant will probably just work those areas..... used to hang out in sea bright, sandy hook also. really miss the jersey shore..... i take a lot of ribbing out here in Arizona when i mention that (NJ Shore) as their attention goes right to that show.LOL
thanks for the info,
Joe
