I'm headed to Madeira Beach, FL in a week. I have an Ace250 and have used it on the beach in the past. I'd like to try detecting in the water, though, but since I live in Kansas and visit the beach once a year or less, I don't want to buy a water detector. Does anyone know a good place to rent a good water hunting detector and scoop in the Madeira Beach area? If not, I'll just have to hunt the dry sand and maybe some wet sand. Thanks!

You could try Phil at Myers Metal Detectors in Tampa, but I do not know if he rents water machines.

Thanks Dave. I may try that or just go with what I have. Either way, it beats hunting the same old parks here in Kansas all the time!
