Lots of Wheats and Silver

Did a 2 hour hunt today. Hunted a small area about 20' x 20'. Found 26 wheats, 3 copper pennys , 2 zincon's, 2 Ala Tax tokens and one silver Rosie.

I started finding wheats and I ended finding 25 wheats, a wheat pocket spill with 7 wheats in one hole. (I'll tell you about the 26 wheat in sec). 29-D, 39, 40, 41, 42, (3) 44, 44-D, 44-S, (5) 45, 49, 50, 50-S, 51-D, (3) 52-D, 58-D.



After about one hour and 45 minutes, I started thinking I needed to get home, just one more coin. Well at the two hour mark, I got this silver Rosie. 1961-D. I left with this being the last coin dug.





Now let me tell you about wheat #26. I got home and removed my boots. Then checked for mud. There something special in the mud. Take a look.

Thats a great haul on them wheats. I hope that wasnt dog poo on your shoe with that wheat stuck in it.

Wow, that's a high wheat to silver ratio! Over the past 5 years, my wheat to silver ratio is 5 to 1. Yes, I've had days where I've dug as many as 50 wheats with only one silver coin. Then there were days where I've dug 13 silver coins and only 7 wheats.

You're in a good area. Go back and see what else comes out. I guess if you haven't found much in a while, check underneath your shoes again.
