Question Button experts - military button found.

I found this button where the foundation of a Victorian home stood. I'm thinking WWII but maybe it's older?

Thanks

Yea no problem buddy. I found a bridle rosette with that same great seal on it when I was younger. I lived in a frat house at the time and things got complicated when we didnt move out on time. Needless to say I lost a lot of my relics (along with all my clothes and furniture I had in my room) when the owner had a fit and threw out all my stuff in a fit of anger. Sigh.
