Default I found a set of Auvios!!!

I checked with every Radio Shack in the state, and finally found a pair of
33-283s for 29.99!
I picked up the inline volume control, and ordered the AT Pro adaptor, and I can't wait to get them hooked up.
I have a question though, did anyone else get a instruction book with theirs? as mine didn't have one.

Default 33-283s

I don't think mine came with anything either. they are a simple plug and play. I am lost at why you would need a volume control? the Auvio headset has a volume control on it! Turn the headset volume to near center, turn on headset and put them on. Plug the Transmitter into the headset jack, turn it on. Turn on MD and go to it! Cowboy told me to connect them to the charger before plugging the charger in. The charger flashes while charging and stays on when they are charged. Specs are on the box. unlike Bluetooth there is no pairing required, they just instantly work. I did an 8hr search using mine the other day. Oh and if you are going to want to recharge the headset you have to put rechargeable batteries into it of course!!! Good Luck and Happy Hunting.....

I had a set of the Auvio's, even though the detector I was using them with (Fisher 1266) had its own volume control I had to buy an inline volume to make the Auvio's work with the 1266. By adding an inline volume control it changed the impedance and was the only way to get them to work. Probably not the case with the AT Pro but was my experience with the Fisher 1266.

That's exactly the case with the AT Pro. If you don't have the inline volume control, you will still hear the At Pro's internal speaker.

Default the reason

Yes I just found out its the impedance issue with the AT Pro, Now my Fisher Coinstrike has a volume control and they work great in it. My Minelab has a volume control and they work on it also. Good Luck and Happy Hunting.....

if you use rechargables in the headset(which i highly recommend) just make sure you flip the switch inside the headset battery compartment to "rechargables "
