Clueless....
Found this today, magnet will not stick to it. May be copper. It's about 2" x 1"

you should try to put something of known size (maybe a dime) beside it for a size reference.
it kinda looks like a broach. any sign of attachment points on the back of it? __________________

Sorry, I had taken the pic and forgot about sizing. Just added the measurements. It did have 2 attachment points on the back side.
