American Diggers Reaity Show Debuts

And, its about as real as the professional wrestling that its star "Ric Savage" used to do. This party of MDers claim to have found $20,000 in buried treasure the first day of hunting on land. But the only relic they showed found was a $75.00 two man saw. The Alaska Dispatch newspaper did not believe their story. Neither did the majority of commentors on a big AOL news website. These commentors all agreed that the show is fake. We dont need to be concerned about a big rush to buy MDs because of this TV farce.
This show is as phony as they come.

I've watched both shows. "American Diggers" and, I believe the other one was just called "Diggers". The way I see it is, while both of them are ridiculous, it may get a slew of people to get metal detectors, thinking they are going to make thousands of dollars. When these people finally figure out that pull tabs are not worth anything, we hobbiests will have lots of used detectors to choose from!

I saw a 45 second clip of American Diggers. Rick savage stood next to a barrel fire with what looked like a can of lighter fluid, proclaiming himself the god of hell fire. Then he excitedly pulled a saw out of the ground and got all sweaty like he was fending off a blood clot...

I saw the show. The show wasn't any better than the preview. The burning barrels were supposed to thaw the frozen ground so they could dig some targets. They went to Alaska mining towns in the winter to relic hunt. 4 day hunt yeilded over $19,000 in rusty artifacts. Value in the real world $400.

I thought the show to be pretty ridiculous as well. The concern I have is the regular public seeing this and thinking that is how all MD'ers behave. I wonder if we'll see an influx of interest or people mocking and detesting us. Just a thought.

That has to be the funniest thing I've read all day.. That show is so bad it makes Diggers look good that takes a lot.

I had to join this Forum just so i could say what a Fake Show American Diggers is.!!..This "Boom Baby" that comes out of the Fat Boy Wrestlers mouth is enough to make anyone change the channel..And when did the Whites Machines have the power or signal strength to find items down 3-4 feet,,like the Medical finds on that "Haunted" property...Geeeezzzz there is a re-run on now and the "Big Guy" just let out a Boom Baby Fart.!!..And the Prices of some of the Garbage they dig and sell.!!!!!!!!..Where did these prices come from.!!..Please.!!!....Are the Producers of American Diggers the same as the Storage Unit Clowns,,Another Comedy Show.!!..Watching most of these shows one Must think of them being Comedy Shows & Big Fat Lies.!!...And the Whites Detectors,I have Nothing against them,,i own 2 and also a Minelab Sovereign GT with several coils including a 15" WOT and a Tesoro Cortes...None of these Detectors will show anything down 3-4 feet and if you know detectors you know how deep the Sovereign GT will go..Maybe one day the show will invite some dummy like myself on and show me the trick on getting all that depth..Dig Baby Dig.!!

A few years back i could buy Storage Units for $100 bucks all day long,,Now that the "Fake" TV shows have Ruined it the first opening bid is $100 bucks plus..Everyone now thinks you can make $10k a week buying & selling units.!!..Gotta be the same producers as these other Fake Comedy Shows,,They are getting Rich.!!..Hey what happened to the Bounty Hunter,,That show was Real wasn't it.!!

Just in case you didn't know, the only "American diggers" shows are RE-RUNS. There was controversy around the use of the name "American diggers" due to the Magazine with the same name. The show is now called "Savage Family Diggers"
