Only the third hunt of the year with the new AT Pro. Went to a place where I had found 2 Rosies last fall. Wasn't there for 5 minutes when I hit a nice high tone...86 VDI I think. Pinpointed at 6 inches. Was actually just past 4 inches and I pop out a nice shiny 64 Rosie. Also found a 1940 Wheat and about 15 cents in clad. Was running in STD Zero, 35 iron discrimination, iron audio with sensitivity wide open. When I hit a good target I'd check it in Pro Zero to get a good idea what that sounds like. Dug the last few coins using pro mode rather than standard. Beginning to get a hang of this machine...well kinda. Thanks for looking and HH

Thanks mnhunter, I love seeing the silver just sitting in the dirt like that, sure is a great feeling.
I bought my AT Pro last summer and I am still far away from actually knowing how to optimize it for my yard and I admit that I use STD more than Pro mode, but I can't wait to see what it does when I get this thing figured out. I expect by the end of this summer, I should have some idea. I have my first extended hunt of the season tomorrow... I hope the luck of the Irish are with us. Mike __________________ |

Thanks for all the comments guys. I really like this machine, and I think I'm going to like it a lot more. I'm going to work with the pro mode as much as possible to learn what this detector is capable of. I'm sure I've only scratched the surface (pun intended). I woke up with what feels like a cold, hope it's only allergies. Going to try to get out again today for a while.
