Default Colonial Site Yields Many Coppers!

Here is my identical twin brother's post from another forum:

"Hey, dudes, Paco and I got out to the Steppe Farm today. Our day started off slowly for the 1st 45 minutes. We were hitting the area where Zoyboy and Paco found their Classic Head half cents, but it wasn't producing, so we decided to head to another cornfield on Mr. Steppe's land. So, while walking back to the car, I kept my coil low and got a nice signal. It turned out to be a mystery target...I re-checked the hole and got a nice high tone on my detector. This target pinpointed at 5.5", so I dug down and was rewarded with a green medium-sized disc. I picked it up and yelled to Paco, "Dude, I think I have a half cent!" He ran over and while I was cleaning it, he gave me a slap on the shoulder and said, "Dude, AWESOME!" After cleaning it with my finger, it looks like it is unidentifiable. After consulting the redbook, I can fully say that it is an American half cent....it is 23.5 mm in diameter. But, I still had to look more closely at it for awhile. I looked at the edge of the coin and I believe I see "lar." This may indicate that it is a Liberty Cap, since this is the only half cent that has "Two Hundred for a Dollar" on the edge of the coin.

After the half cent recovery, we decided to head to another cornfield that is about 30 yards from the Susquehanna river. While in this field, Paco got the 1st target...a nice-looking gold plated button. After that, I detected for about 20 minutes until I got a nice "Quarter" reading that pinpointed at 5". This target turned out to be a Machin's Mills Colonial. I shouted to Paco, while performing a fist pump in the air, "Dude, I just retrieved a Colonial!"

About 30 minutes after my 2nd copper, I got another nice "Penny" reading that pinpointed at 1.5". Indubitably, it was another Machin's Mills Colonial. I performed another fist pump, this time with two hands in the air, and yelled, "Can you say two, RP? Another Colonial!"

About 20 minutes after my 3rd copper, I was walking up a cornrow and got a loud hit. I looked down and saw another coppa laying, indeed, dudes, right on top of da ground. I picked it up and yelled to Paco, "Dude, a Con-nec-ti-cut copper!" After the shout, I took my gear off and performed the chicken dance, while the entire time I was making comical smiley faces. I guess I got too giddy after all of those coppers.

Thank you, Mr. Steppe, for granting us permission to relic hunt on your historical land and for being such a sweetie pie."

On Thursday, I found the Classic Head half cent at a depth of 6 inches.

I can just picture the back and forth "dude" dialogue.

Very nice coppers! The farm owner sure was kind to allow detecting on his property. What a sweet opportunity!
