Default Clasp from an old trunk,,,I think?

I found this at a local baseball field. I was detecting the grassy parking lot, and got a good reading about 3inches deep. It appears to be the lock or clasp from and old truck. What do you guys think.

I was told that years ago, prior to a baseball park, there was an old patato shed on that property.

Sounds like a logical thought to me... can you show any close ups or different angles? does either piece show any signs of broekn off sections or parts? Or how big is it?

I tried looking around for a similar design but came up empty. I did however find a website claiming that they are steamer experts... website and email below.

the-pirate@thepirateslair.com

Ill keep looking around during down moments but you might wanna try and send a pic to him and see if he can identify the style?
