Condolences on your the loss of your uncle.

As bad as my life is right now, I look for any good in it to keep me sane. Telling myself "it could be worse" keeps me on the positive side of the bubble. Deal with the negative situations separately and definitely avoid grouping them together as this has the potential to overwhelm you. Don't let it lead you down a long bitter dark road.

So when life spends an extra amount of time crapping on you, put some extra air in those s%$t spreader's tires and unload.

Thats what makes the detector situation worse for me. I was on a roll recently. 12 silvers from the same area. But yes that Morgan is awesome. So is her cousin, the Barber half I found lol.

I'm sorry Burnt... didn't mean to throw the oars out of the boat for you in the middle of the ocean with a Hurricane a few miles away and sharks in the water. I was just trying to put a positive light about the "crappy hand" you've been dealt with lately... I feel bad and I apologize for it. TRUST ME... I've been there and feel for you... SERIOUSLY. Keep the head high buddy. HH \_

Wow man I've been through some stuff in my life you'll get through it. My dad died when I was one years old, I had to watch my grandpa die of cancer, I had to say my last words to my stepbrother while he was on life support because of drugs. At least five of my cats were hit by cars, one laying in the yard with it's head off, the other was attacked by a raccoon. My dog had seizures and had to be put down (had him for 12 years). Watched my rabbit lay to sleep and never wake up (had him for 10 years). Had one of my friends steal my playstation 2 right out of my house. Trust me man we all go through things in life and we have to overcome them and I know you will just like I did.

Burnt, I was lower than whaleshit for 15 months.
lost step-father, wife, home. Everything fell apart, albeit not all at once. Now despite a foot of snow on the ground, I have found happiness again. This too will pass for you. Best of luck to you bro....................................

Hey Burnt, I'm sorry to hear of your misfortune. If it makes you feel any better, you aren't the only one.

Last week I figured out my GF of 6 years has been cheating on me so I kicked her out. What a lowly creature.

Anyway, it sounds like you stepped in some dog $&*!, but that comes off with a little water and the appropriate stick. Don't let that make you throw out your shoes.

Man, sorry bro. I've been in those shoes. February 24th I had to put my daughters baby cat down. Took her in to the Vet the night before thinking he was just a little sick. Turned out to be pancreatic cancer. Tore me and my little one up. Still not over it. I get very attached to animals, so this one still stings. I saved him when he was a few weeks old from a freezing puddle, so I'm feeling this pain pretty bad. It'll get better bro, just hang in there. I'm also a single dad now. Years ago my ex started cheating on me, coming back, cheating on me some more, coming back, etc etc. Friends and family gave me some great advice, but I now realize that you're only over it when YOU'RE ready. Didn't understand that back then. People would get angry at me when I said I missed her, or I'd take her back. I just wasn't ready to move on. So I wont give you the typical advice, rather say that when you're ready you'll know it, and it wont hurt any more. I ended-up with the greatest gf/fiance ever now, and also have full custody of my little girl. Good things happen. When the time comes and you start dating again (assuming you haven't), try Match.com or POF.com I was skeptical of dating online, but as a single dad with long hours, it was a great option. If you need proof that it works just look at my facebook profile. She's in it with me. Also, I have an extra MD laying around. It's a BH 3300, so if you wanna borrow it until you replace yours you are more than welcome too. I'll even give ya my honey hole location if that'll help cheer ya up, and you might nab some old silvers out of it like I did yesterday. Let me know. You're in my area, so if you need to get out and hunt just say the word. I'll bring the beer and MD's. Just know that it always gets better. life happens by chance. It's not as much of a roller-coaster as it is a boat riding a wake. A little up here, a little down there. You hit those sweet times, and some times we all take a big dip. Anyway, let me know if you wanna hunt this Saturday and we'll set it up. -Fin

Thank you everyone. I went out to hike around the park today to clear my head. Felt out of place with out the Ace swinging. Still enjoyed my day. Trying to just focus on the future.

Thanks a lot Ronfin. We should try to set something up. I may sell some of my silver and some othe items and just get the AT. I've wanted it for a while and I think that will cheer me up playing with the new toy. If I don't or cant though I will take you up on your offer. Send me a PM.

As my Dad told me many years ago, "Time heals all wounds." And remember women are like buses, another one will be along soon and will take you where you want to go.

Burnt, Sorry to hear about how bad everything is going. No matter how bad things get they always get better, it just happens that way. I can remember a few times in my life that I went to bed praying not to wake up and the funny thing now is that I can't remember what those bad things were. I have an old Whites, I think it's a coinfinder or something like that. It's just your basic detector,no screen or anything. You can have it if you want. Let me know and I will check it out for you. I bought it at a swap meet a few years ago and it's just sitting in the basement.
